Aerating several bubble buckets with one aquairum pump.

Hi there, i was wondering if anyone out there uses this method, and if so what kind of pump would take care of for example four 5-gallon buckets?
What kind of power do these pumps need to have and also do they have enough outlets or do you use dividers for the tubing?
Thanks in advance.

I've got the 5 gallon buckets too...

using the full output of a 50-60 gallon rated air pump seems good...

I think a decent rule of thumb is that you want the water to be lifted cause of the bubbling... a rolling bubble?

the more the better.

You'll probably need at least two higher range pumps for your 4 bucks.

i use an 80 watt comerical grade air pump, it set me back about 90 bucks but it does the trick, its running 2 5gal dwc, and 5 12'' airstones in my cloner and my veg tub, i still have 4 empty outlets on the pump. its worth it to spend the money.... air is pretty important in dwc. my plans are to get another as my garden grows, i also like the idea of 2 pumps in case 1 fails.

Thats really sweet.

can you post a link?

I bought a pump from harbor freight for that purpose, however I'm leery about hooking it up and avoiding leaks. Does that commercial pump accept the fish tank standard 1/8 inch tube, I think?
