hey guys,
i read a lot of about growing with the aerogarden i am fairly new to hydroponic growing and hence would like to get as much info as possible to make this fist grow successful. For this first grow i will attempt to grow some TOP 44 stain

so far i have ordered the following:
aerogarden pro 200
grow tent darkroom 80

additional lighting :
Multi Spectrum 315 Watt CFL Light, Includes one 30K Spiral, one 41K Spiral and one 50K Tube style bulb. A multi-purpose variety of light spectrums

air-pump tubing and air-stones

digital timer

and that is all i thought of so far.

Now, i would like to know about ventilating the grow tent what would be your recommendations? i am unsure due to the CFL light s whether i should simply buy fans or if i should set up an Inline Duct Fan?

Will appreciate any feedback

Computer fans worked pretty good for me. Because the CFLS dont give off as many lumens as HPS lights they will grow a bit slower, so you can go less on the ventilation for now

thanks for sucha quick reply!

now my next question is how do i power those computer fans? as i suppose you cant simply plugged it into a wall socket?

you'll need an ac/dc adapter (walmart), simple strip the wires on your comp. fan and tape them into your adapter. These adapters have variable voltages so you can control the speed of your fan.

i ve decided to go with a vortex inline fan as an exhaust system which i will instal outside on the top of the tent , and just put a standard fan inside.

do you think i have enough lighting power with the Multi Spectrum 315 Watt CFL Ligh + aerogarden lights?
