BUBBLEHEADS know how to grow!
There have been a number of people who have successfully re-veg to increase their lower nuggets, Uncle Ben being one. And oh yea, same with lollipopping.
You don't have to re-veg them. After taking the tops, just continue to flower the lower branches as the bud sites will increase.
