AGGHHH with my AK48

Trying to buy a 400 watt HPS Lamp but can't figure out if its 2700 K and its the right move for close to 200 bucks. The plants are AK48 autofem and are looking good. They have been cfl grown for 4 and 1/2 weeks. Thoughts and where to buy from and what to do? When is good to switch to flower hours? Thanks!View attachment 2531774View attachment 2531775

Umm dude no... Go to the deals thread here and get the whole 400w setup for 120 or so in one box, switching to flower should be based on your plant size and count, i veg for less than two weeks, some people go for months

HPS is the right spectrum for flowering you plant, as LordRahl3 said you can flower at anytime it all depends on how big you can grow, most plants will at least double in size once switched to 12/12, also you may find one cheeper if you search hydroponic shops on line or even e-bay.

I would always try to go to a local shop first. I can get out the door for around $140 for a 400 watt hood and ballast and my local grow shop, that is about as good as you will do online.
Virtual sun hydroponics also sell nice kits that contain a ballast, mh & hps bulbs, timer, hood, and hangers for a good value. HTG Supply is good also.
