I just accidentally hit the button for the surge protector and turned everything off for a few seconds, but I hit the switch really fast, but now the MH is not coming back on. Does it in a few minutes or...it's been like 4 mins since it happened.

shit not a good, think, thats called a hot restrike and is not advised, the best thing is wait 15 min and try to fire her up again, if not you screwed it, 15 min is normally not long enough bout 30 min is optimal,(there was one guy stating 2-3 min in some threads)FALSE. so give it its rest and it should spark back up, if not buy a new bulb and hope the ballast didnt get freid, hope nothing serious, greetz -yze-

sorry one more question, are they flowering? if they are only in veg then wait 30 min to restrike, but i said 15 min because i was believing you were in flower so it doesnt stress the plants too much, but DUH, your using a MH so you must be in VEG, so then its ok to let it cool for 30 min

not flowering, just put them in the tent last night.

nah... it sounds like you are using an analog ballast. leave it off for a couple min and it will come back on. My Hps did it too when i was screwing with it. just chill
