air intake question for grow tent

Hello, I plan on setting up my spare room with a grow tent 10x10 or 8x8. I'm going to have 2 600w lights, have a carbon filter inside the tent and just having the heat exhaust going out the window. Here is where my question comes in, is it possible for me to just use the AC vent and run it directly to the tent? And have a fan running in the middle and bottom of the tent? I always keep my house AC at 72. Or will I have to buy a portable AC units with dual exhaust and use it just for the tent? With one going from the window and the other to the tent

Any tips or advice is welcomed

Thank you

Well you said you were using a carbon filter, yes? Most likely to get rid of the smell, yes? Then it would not be a good idea to use the central AC vented to your tent unless it was blowing 24/7. The reason for this is because when the ac shuts off and is no longer blowing into the tent, the smell will then be traveling through your duct system and throughout the entire house, not something you want I would imagine. Unless you bought an electronically controlled damper that you wired to your AC system so that when it stops blowing it closes the vent.

I understand your question to be regarding suppling cool air to the tent? Generally people just open a flap on the bottom of one side of the tent and allow cool air (from your 72 degree ambient room temperature outside the tent) to be passively drawn into the tent as the exhaust fan cycles the warm, stale air out of the tent. I don't think direct AC input into the tent is the norm.

Best way to do it. That's how I grow :)

Would just opening the flap be enough air? Also would it be ideal to have the fans running in the middle and bottom?

Thank you for your knowledge I was just a bit confused
