Has any one tried any of these air pruning pots for their pot?
How do they compare to a standard fabric pot?
How do they compare to a standard fabric pot?
How so? Roots grow and get exposed to air and get pruned is the definition of air pruning correct?None of them are air pruning pots
I've been eyeballing those air pots pretty hard.Air pots
I like fabric personally. But everyone has they're own opinions
Where are you getting algea building? How so? Roots grow and get exposed to air and get pruned is the definition of air pruning correct?
Those are designed to do that but.... not sure how effective they are at doing so.

They seem to be a pretty effective but they are kinda pricey and they don't come in white.
I've only used the fabric ones once but wasn't a big fan of the algae build up on the fabric since I got the white ones.
I have never had that happen. Crazy.
Thirsty hairs sounds good thanks!Try these

Might have had something to do with the perlite only grow or the plant not surviving long enough to suck the nutrients out of the excess water. Or that I let the ph drift too much.I have never had that happen. Crazy.
That's a great idea!Light + white + water = algae
Bury your watering tubes and inch or 2 and the top will be algae free.
Nice!If you want air pruning start pots these are awesome

Do you have to worry about nutrient solution temps with a hempy bucket? What about PH drift? Before I switched to hempy buckets I used to use and re-use 7 gal fabric pots. With the darker colors (gray, black. brown) algae wasn't really an issue. White anything in the tent is going to be an algae magnet
