alert alert all growers who order supplys online!!!!

ok freaking out here i have made two previos orders from htg suppy both totaling over 460 a piece and just made a third order total 156. now i just got a phone call from ups an automated thing says my shippment will arive tomarrow and reqiers my sign. this blew my mind because the first two orders was way more money and no sign.ups just droped it off on my porch...so i call htg and the guy says they didnt ask for the sign.and that he would call ups about this...he calles me back and says that if i want to ups will have to ship the packeges back to htg then they would have to reship...and i told the guy that it was their(htg`s)descresion to ask for that option not ups`s what should i do should i be worried...

Are you currently growing anything? I would hide all your shit if you can and sign for the shit or just send it back to HTG and have them resend it. I could be a UPS mistake.

There is nothing illegal about ordering grow equipment. I don't know where you are but if that's all law enforcement has to do then it's pretty pitiful.

Your logic is a little flawed, how is UPS sticking their nose in your business? You step outside your house and sign for it and tell him to have a nice day. He isn't going to search your house. And as long as you don't have a grow setup currently running then you are cool even if the cops show up! Tell them it is a grow setup to grow "go fuck yourself" plants! LOL

My UPS delivery drivers are too busy and over worked to be interested in what is being delivered to my house. This is a Medical Marijuana state so no one even notices...

The phone message was actually from UPS. It is actually enhanced two day shipping, which is why the shipping costs a little more. This is nothing to freak out about, it is an added convenience that UPS does for customers who pay a little more. I'm guessing HTG changed their shipping methods since your earlier orders. I got two orders from HTG recently and got automated phone calls both times. I didn't actually order two times, they just sent the wrong thing the first time, so I ended up with two orders. $80 was the total.

just an idea, but if it's something like a 2 day guaranteed shipping, they might want a signature to show they did indeed deliver in the allotted time. If they just left it on your porch like they do with so many things you might see it a few days later and claim they didn't deliver in the time frame you paid for. Again, I have no idea, this is just a total speculative guess

If it was something funny up like a potential bust. I do not think they would call you up with a friendly message letting you know they are coming. It's a UPS practice too make sure someone is there to get the goods. I've gotten that message many times from different orders that weren't grow supplies.

if they were comming for you they wouldn't tell you. if they called you as soon as you answer your phone they would be kickin your door in. chill partner, you shouldn't have things delivered to your grow house anyways..... especialy if you got plants goin..... thats why you trippin cause you got a grow going on there......

I previously worked for ups (laid off a couple weeks ago). The driver does not know the contents of your package. In fact it's possible that no one does. Now the orders will be stored in a database and they can be pulled if supeanaed. If the cops have already done that your already fucked and would be in jail instead of reading this post. Relax and smoke a bowl.
