I'm a newbie on my first grow and so far everything is going great! But! I woke up this morning and my soil has a bit of a green tint to it, I'm assuming this is algae from over watering? I've been trying not to water them to much but Aperantly I am.haha do y'all think if I refrain from watering them a few days it will go away? Thanks in advance!

Break up the first couple of inches of medium and let it dry well. It's OK . But pick your containers up to check weight. Don't water by schedule but by need.

hotrodharley is right, just do that and don't overwater. The green is because it's too damp. It happens to me on my clones sometimes and I just do what harley says. stir the first few inches in without hurting the roots.
When I do mine i just stir that up and dump it out ot mine. but that's just me.

BTW Welcome to RIU, And Good Luck :)

I use flora flex caps on some pots and their is no algae growth on the media. And the even water distribution from the flora flex caps are a plus. Also when the plant grows enough its leaves create shadow on the media and algae should stop.
