Hey all... have 18 super skunk looking and smelling real good. Now at 1 month of veg and getting ready to flower them. Using a BC Northern Lights Producer Machine ( Hydro ). Rockwool is just starting to have some algae growth... what can i use to kill or remove without damaging plants? Have a white reflective plastic but was unable to get it down in time before plants made it impossible. Kicking myself in the butt for not getting it done! A little help please...

don't worry about it if its just on the blocks and not growing all in the solution/resevour just put some light proof sheeting over the blocks to stop it getting worse
the algae wont harm the plants, it just looks nasty, and can help to block up pumps if left to grow out of control .. ive had blocks become totaly green with algae before where i have left them without any covering its really nothing to worry about

if you want to clean away stuff like that a mild solutin of plant grade peroxide is normaly used like oxyplus but i wouldnt bother, just rememer next time to get the light proof covering on, it takes a week or two for algae to start growing here, i guess it depends on the heat and other factors :)
