This is my very first coco grow, and I've never experienced anything like this with soil. My girls are about a week old, and for the past couple of days I've noticed very very tiny amounts of what I assume is algae forming on the top of the coco. By small I mean, at it's biggest, the size of the tip of a standard pen. I am assuming it is algae because I am using age old liquid kelp which is a form of algae, and I use it in my watering mixture, which is why I am speculating that that is where it came from. I'd take a picture but the formations are too small for my shitty camera.
Is this a problem? Has anyone else experienced anything like this before?
On a side note, it's ok to water with liquid kelp mixed in with my nutes, right?
Any and all input is greatly appreciated.
Cheers
