Hello Folks, I was wondering if anyone out there have used or are using the QB's from Alibaba? I need another to suppliment my QB 260. Tent will be 4 X4 so would a QB 240 plus my QB 260 be too much? If so what size would you suggest I get? PS QB's 240 for $140 USD. Thanks to whomever replies

Theres a few threads already here. Search around, even on the first couple pages I think there is 1 or 2 active threads about them. Also, you are short on light now, 500w or so for a 4x4 is about where u want to be at.

There are many suppliers on Alibaba. When you place order to them, you need ask their warranty and if they have warehouse and repair center in your country, or shipping fee is very high to send light back to them. When I bought my Mars led light on Alibaba, they told me they can offer me free shipping, free tax and customs, 3 years warranty.

Two 260w kits is almost the same like a HLG550 kit. An HLG-240 with two boards in parallel tooks up to 285w from the wall with two kits it's at least ~520w net. That's ~32w/sft; enough for my taste...
The boards are probably not identical also if they claim so. If its LM301b it's probably not the same flux and voltage binning so do not expect the same brightness and wattage. PCB's are also only 1 or 2oz copper boards instead 4oz boards. Also, do not mix them in parallel with the org. Qboards. They have different input voltage and could be damaged.
But if you agree with all this things there is nothing left spreaking against this fake boards. Also the brightness difference can be reduced if you hang them 1 or 2" closer to the tops.
A few guys here use these boards with great results. @Moflow for instance has a few 3x 1ft boards with 800 LM561c and his garden looks like a paradise AND he also use original Qboards in the same garden, btw..

Tis actually 2 x 800 lm561 led boards from Shenzhen Meiju.
Size is 3ft x 11inches. I run them pretty soft without heatsinks
I'm well impressed with them for what they are.
I think they have 3oz of copper, i don't think I've come across 4oz but they're probably out there somewhere.
Rita contacted me at weekend to say they have new 800 led boards with samsung lm301b.

Although I believe she has spoken to @Rocket Soul and admitted they're Not top bin lm301b's.
Still tempted to get a couple to test......:bigjoint:
I also have a couple of QBs and Growgreen boards in the mix, all running low watts.

@shawn75can, here's a link to 800 led boards.

I querried the bin again, and now she says its top bin. Not sure what to expect, i recon we will see improvement in about a bin, as in going from S5 to SJ bin on the lm301b.
We will be getting a few to see if its worth going to lm301b. Ill Ill you know the result in about a month.

Nice one.
I'm still tempted to get two boards.
Not sure which driver to use, might try a Meanwell 240h this time.
I don't fancy the 185h for one board as I believe you said you had dimming issues or rubbish par readings when dimmed...?

The Zeus xt 308 boards are the other option but with the Meiju boards you are getting 492 more leds covering over twice the area.

Zeus kit is €99 - £88 - $115

Meiju is €102 - £91 - $102

Decisions, decisions lol

Were going for 240 drivrs aswell this time, putting the boards on 3mm alu-sheets. Trying 3 over 2x1m ailes, 375w/m2.

Gonna try some different spectrums and red supplementation. Also hoping to get some wireless dimming options for a few experiments.
