ALL HPS Growers!! I need Advice plz.!

I just started germinating 6 thc bomb seeds.

When they sprout can I put the hps on them?

Also my space is 2'8"x2'8"x5'3". Did I start off right with 6 seeds just in case 3 are female. That would mean 3 plants in that area with a 400 watter.

How much is recommended for a space like mine?

Pretty basic questions BUT I know everybody on this site would set up a different number of plants in the same given space, with the same light. So im just trying to get some insight I guess you can say

Personally.. I put 2 75w floro's on my seedlings for the first two weeks. If you dont have any other options, make sure that HPS is a good 24-36" from your babies.

With only 63" of growing space vertically, keep in mind that they will double/triple in size once you put them into flowering.

63" of space - 12" (guess) pot height - 6-12" from the tops of plants to light = 39" max height when harvesting.

I'd recommend flowering at 10-12" so that you dont run out of space.

Should I germinate more just in case they are not female?

They will be potted in 16oz party cups then transplanted into a regular pot.
Probably leaning toward 2gal pots but how many. 5?

i had my 250 watt on my sprouts, they did fine, just keep the light a little higher, say 20 inches from them and make sure they get plenty of water

they say 1 square foot per plant.if your worried about space look into sog or scrog setup man.i think if you had 4 females in that setup with a scrog yu would be fine bro.

Yeah 4 females would be perfect.
I just hope the odds are in my favor for all of them being female.

I wish there was a way to find out their sex before flowering that way I can maximize the little space I do have. SOG is my best bet, I just need clones to use then I will be set

Well man if you really want females and dont want to take the chance next time go through the process and get feminised seeds. but really man if you can do it what oyu should do is not setup a scrog yet...you need to see if you can have another small place devoted just to a mother and some clones. maybe the complete tent kit for 175 something like that bro. so oyu can have a mother to take clones from and then have the clones ready to put into flowering by the time the first cycle is done. that takes room and money though but would have a constant flow no switching lights.
or jsut get some feminised seeds next time and do a scrog.the thing with doing a scrog is its so hard to get a male ut of the screen if you need to. so before you do a scrog try sog or jsut regular growing....

Theres just one problem. I already have a tent in my room. and thats the flowering room im using.
I will probably get a cab specifiacally for raising a mother/clones.

Whats the smallest cab I can use to do that because another tent in my room isnt going to work?

Maybe I can do a 2x2x4 or something but thats just another big box in my room.

If only I had the expertise in carpentry I wouldnt be complaining.

make sure you veg em. they dont do so well under 12/12 from seed. but some good smoke over all. mine had a pretty sweet taste, with a couchlock buzz.

i have a 400w hps on 7 plants in a 1.5x4x6 space....temps are mid to low 80's....2 plants are in 3 gal pots...2 are in 1.5gal pots and 2 are in 1/4gal pots..
