Am I out of pre-flower stage yet?

Okay like 1 month ago my outdoor plant started showing pre-flowers. 2 white hairs on a few of the nodes. It's as big as it will get in 5 gal bucket. Just waiting for the light to change right. Now every node has white hairs. Does that mean it's full into flowering and should be ready for harvest in 4-6 weeks or is it still just pre-flowering like crazy waiting for the light to get right? Fl panhandle area. I can provide pics if it really helps, but I assume saying every node has white hairs covers what you'll see.

Showing sex is no confirmation that flowering has begun. It's showing maturity. Or the light change has promoted preflowers and flowering has commenced, but seeing as it was a month ago, I'm sure it is just showing maturity. Myself, I am an indoor grower. If I don't force sexing by switching to 12/12, it will eventually show sex itself if I keep the light at 18/6. Just be patient. The days are getting shorter now and you'll know when she is flowering. It'll happen soon :D

Also, not sure what strain you are growing, but the flowering stage will usually take longer than 4-6 weeks to complete. IME, it is anywhere from 7-11 weeks on average with different strains. It fluctuates strain to strain. Don't waste all your hard work by harvesting early!
