I've been saying this for a while, am I the only one who doesn't find concentrates as medicinal as flower?
Now concentrates will definitely get me locked into my couch all jackie chan style, but no matter how 'high' they make me they don't seam to help at all with my medical reasons for smoking/ingesting cannabis.
I find that after smoking concentrate only for a few days I become lethargic and almost depressed...it's at this point I realize that, "Hey, I haven't smoked flower in a couple days" and sure enough I'll take one hit of some good flower and BOOM! I'm myself again before I'm even stoned.
Also, does anyone else find it funny that it became popular once the med scene and legalization made prices drop dramatically within a few years?
It's a perfect product for growers and shady profiteers- it's easily shipped to any state, it turns otherwise trash into a sellable product, and even ruined crops(mold, bugs, etc.) become money makers...
I don't know about everyone else but I don't think BHO is even in the same category as dry or pressed hash as far as medicine goes.
I will say it's good medicine for pain, and maybe insomnia, but that's about it. I feel dull and lifeless if I only smoke BHO where smoking flower makes me happy, productive, and stay on task(I have sever adhd, BHO almost makes it worse).
Anyone else feel the same way? It's getting harder to find QUALITY flower then BHO in my town, and it's no suprise-it's win win for the dealers/growers-you can't scope their product and find bugs/mold/etc, you can't smell the complexity of their product, etc. They can now grow high yielding cash crops, not worry about bag/taste appeal, and smuggle $$$$ worth of it in something as small as a cig pack.
The only BHO that is even remotely close to medicine is the bud run stuff I or a select few friends make...literally everything else in my area is merely trash that has been turned into $.
The saddest part is really good herb is getting harder and harder to find! It's much easier to turn crappy product into a potent extract then produce quality medicine. Since it's effects are so numbing and sedating, people confuse it with being 'potent medicine'-instead of it being just that-numbing and sedating.
Those are great qualities if your in pain or can't sleep, but useless for almost anything else.
I'm just getting sad seeing how popular concentrates have become all things considered.
Please, someone else tell me they share the same feelings!
POWER TO THE FLOWER!!!
