Am I too late to clone?

I have a plant right now thats been in 12/12 for 19 days, it hasn't grown much at all, there was a lot of different problems with her particularly, the other 3 around here are doing much better though. My question is, would I still be able to get a clone or two from here instead of pulling the whole plant?

I've cut clones from flowering plants and i think they rooted faster...they put out some funky leaves at first, then fine after that.

No, it's not too late. Ideally, you'd want to take cuttings prior to 12/12 but they'll still root even if you've taken them after 19 days of 12/12. The only problem is, from my experience, they take longer to root. If you've ever done a comparison, particularly with the same strain/pheno, you'll see that the one taken from veg will root faster (7-10 days faster) than the one transitioning to the 12/12 cycle:leaf:

why clone a problematic plant?
Like Nubby said why clone the plant that isnt doing great unless its your fault that its not doing good. But if its just not doing good and you did everything right then a clone may not be a bad idea, i would clone the ones that are doing good in flower as you would have better results

You're not too late, though it isn't the ideal time. They'll have to revert back to veg, so I'd recommend letting them grow a bit before you induce flowering.
