Amare v. Platinum

Hello everyone, I'm looking into a small 2x2.5x5 tent and a light to go with it.
My question is if Amare se-220 is better than the Platinum p-450. I understand the platinum is obviously drawing more wattage but also I read that "white" leds are less efficient.
I just want to get the best bang for my bucks, plug in and go, full spectrum, tried and tested.
Any informational input would be great, lets not get opinions and egos involved.✌

I have an Amare SE 220, it was replaced with the SE 250, which I also have, and both are great

The Platinum is a poor choice by comparison with w12 bands... WTF? The only thing more ridiculous is the price
Please enlighten me a bit.
I have been leaning towards amare but i just want to be sure i'm making the decision based on science and not opinions.

With a more efficient light, you don't need as much wattage compared to a less efficient light. You will get the same amount of light while using less power

Platinum is trash, platinum bold guy is trash. He stated that white leds are soooooo not good for growing, even said Amare is shit in a video... Later, what do you know, he went and added white diodes to his pannel/s....
Like who does that?
I have an Amare SE260 or SS260? The one with 6 clusters, sw for flower and veg, tis above all burple ...
You can't know untill you try but man ... don't go burple ...
The closest thing to the Amare I have is a diy 3590 but with much more heat, less penetration...

There's a whole LED section that would be good for you to check out

BASICALLY, white light contains all the 12 bands and more, how much more of each depends on whether it is cool white, neutral white, or warm white. Amare's approach combines white CoBs with a few individual diodes covering specific spectrums to enhance both veg and flower

now that sounds like what i'm looking for, thank you sir.
Would you recommend the se-250 or se-220 for 1-2 plants?
Or either will do fine?

You can try out our solo 400 with 350 watts on the wall, 4'x3' footprint, veg and bloom switchable, and we have 3000k, 5000k, super veg, super bloom and full spectrum for our to choose on the light (:

heat is also in consideration and that photon looks like it runs really hot, plus it's the same price as the platinum p-450 and less wattage..
Both of the lights I linked will run cooler than the Amare or Platinum lights. They are also more efficient than the Amare or Platinum so you get more light for less money and create less heat. Win win. There are literally a hundred+ grow journals in RIU using either the same light or same cobs and drivers so there's a ton of info on them too.

Right... better any cob then burple for sure ... idk about Amare though. It's all speculation. Math says it's less efficient, spectrum may say something else. Guess it's all about what side you are on, lol. Sad ..

If you are looking for bang for your buck, you are barking up the wrong tree with Amare and Platinum.

Any time you ask for recommendations of anything you are going to get opinions.

The Amare team is going to say a lot of unproven nonsense about "improved spectrum" and "maximum photosynthetic efficiency" or maybe "enhanced DLI". Just dont ask them to provide a scientific paper or link a study that supports these claims.

If you do go with Amare, make sure you get the 25% discount for RIU shills...err...members.

So please tell us what is your personal experience actually using Amares". If you don't have side-by-side to prove your statements, then you sir, are a troll

Link me any side by side where an Amare outperforms a like-wattage lamp using the latest generation white cobs or smds. If you can't send me the link, then you sir, are just another blowhard!

I'm not claiming anything other than your "enhanced spectrum" is a fairytale. Prove me wrong!
