I’m in the middle of a sealed room build and I came across this product. I’ve used Blue Max from Ames in the past and I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with their Iron Coat.
I furred our my walls with 2x2s, spray foamed and I’m using 1/2 plywood for my wall covering. Up to this point I’ve been spraying the ply with Behr Ultra pure white eggshell (the whitest white according to Miami Mango and backed by Growmau5).
What caught my attention about the Iron Coat Is the claim that it’s 98% reflective. That, combined with the ability to essentially rubberize the walls (Seems ideal for cleaning and ensuring that the room is sealed) has me seriously considering it.
Hoping someone can weigh in on the idea. Has anyone worked with this product? Love to hear some thoughts from the forum. Thanks.
