An someone help me understand scrog +rep

I have a DWC setup and my plants are really encroaching on one another, and i considered the scrog method to help to maximize the way they are growing...but im not really sure on the whole science of it and was hoping for some serious enlightenment on the subject...+REP if you can make my little mind comprehend it. THanks all

hi mate im no expert but im currently growing scrog and done alot of research, basically the bending of the plant confuses it for then the side shoots to receive maxium light for then it thinks its a coner and you get all coners and not just one like on a normal plant, increases yield greatly, can be done by tieing down or by useing nets, if you type ''scrog'' in to google images u will get a ruff idea hope this helps dude,

your basically making your plant turn from vertical growing to horizontal growing. You do this by putting something like a chain link fence horizontally over your plants. Then, as you get a few tips poking through your fence, you spread them out so that only one tip occupies one square. It gives you less height and more width. Your lights can only penetrate so deep... so you can see how this is beneficial. With scrog You'll get more light on more buds... so you get more better quality buds. Personally, I haven't tried this method... but I've read up on it a bit.

you still in veg?...best if they have time to grow into a screen(with 1-2" spaces), mounted as low as you can over the canopy, and when they grow up through the screen, you simply tie them back down to screen, until it fills all the spaces of the screen... them you flip to flowering

EDIT- screen meaning with "spaces"(1-2" ) in it...like a grid... not your conventional screen door window one..lol

+rep for the info never could under Stand it till now , ? How soon can u start that (plant hight) how tall do they have to be ?

well you can start training them to stay with a low profile with Lst(low-stress-training)...then when they start to grow vertical again you can put any sized screen above plant (6-12")and it will grow up through the screen again..which then you continue veg until it fills the screen...making it a screen-of-green ( scrog ) then flip to flower when its filled most of the screen
