Any better idea than this ?

So I have 2 20 days old plants in veg at 16/8.
I'm planning on taking 2 clones from each. Then ima put them into veg and make sure they make it. Then I put the 2 mothers in flowering to find out about their sex.
Then I can throw the males (if any) away. I'll end up with 0(no females in flower), 2(+1 in flower), or 4(+2 in flower) females.
Good idea ?

Why are you running 16/8? Just curious....also I think it would be more productive to find the sex of the clones and keep the moms in veg. Then remove males proven by the flowering clones....but all plants will show sex in veg anyways so...let the moms grow take some clones. Flower clones. Kill male mommas take more female clones and start a perp grow

What he wrote ^^^^^ Your approach is sort of backward. Sex the clones, keep the mothers in veg. If you want to take more clones, go for it!
