Season hasnt started for me. Plenty of rain just need the warm temps and i have a feeling there going to be popping by the dozens! i can smell it. Last year was such a crappy hunting season due to a crappy dry winter so no moisture. Found like 10 in the '12 season. im aiming for 100+ this year! Love these delicious Morsels

cant freaking wait to get out there! mid may is usually good in my area as long as the daytime temps dont get to hot too fast, hopefully this year turns out good, didnt have the chance last year. . .

I've never been but have wanted to find a group to go with for a long time. I always missed it cuz of work. Now, I'm in an area where they either don't grow or no one hunts them.

If you cant find a group go out solo. I go out in the woods so much during morel season to always have someone to go with. A nice morning with the birds chirping and the fresh air smelling good and picking these delicious treats. Hopefully my spot i found late last season will produce again!

It looks like a late season in my State for shrooms. I'm hoping to spend some time and find the mother load......finally. Gosh those things are hard to find! I do not have the touch for seeing them :(.

Sure do love eating them though.....oh my!

Only time I ever found more than a dozen was when I took a boat to a lake and went searching in the hard to get to places that could only be accessed by boat. They are yummy!
