Any of you growing Green Crack and Maui Wowie?

i used to get the real deal maui wowie and many of the other island strains from a bud stationed there back in the 70s and from visiting a few times.

the hawiian pot was the best smelling, best looking, best tasting pot i ever had. not the best high but close. the hairs would be all kinds of colors. really something special.

i'm pretty sure i'd laugh at whatever people are pushing as maui.

There are two legit green crack cuts floating around the valley.
The Oaksterdam Cut & Cush Cut...

The Oak cut was grown like shit by the gardener, but the smell was severely overpowering in the room, GC overload..
I imagine justice would be served if it reached someone with talent.

Not grown it (GC), but its what ive been smoking green crack for like the last week. :) Personally i would never grow maui wowie. Its a great smelling, great tasting, great looking bud strain, but it lacks power for me. It also had really i mean really great bag appeal. Just not the one for me. I would love to grow some green crack one day for sure !

There is a management group pushing their Maui and GC cuts/flowers on dispensaries.
I dont care to harp on the quality, apparently the Maui tested around 22%-24%-26% (not sure) at AZmed during the early phases...:wall:
They are advertising with those numbers.

We are growing an Original Maui. Great strain, THC content seems to linger around 17%. It is definitely one of the most popular strains amongst our patients for sure.

Everyone seems to love Green Crack for daytime use but didn't care for it a ton myself. One of our Caregivers grows it and it is popular for sure.

I tested with them recently and was very satisfied with the tests and think the results were accurate. They had problems in the past sourcing their standards and a few other kinks in the begining. Now I think they have things running much better. If you have never used them and only know about them from others I suggest trying it for yourself.

For sure i will probably use them, but i wanted to be able to compare results to somewhere else reliable too. Just wondered if there was any other game in town ???

Does AZ med testing not use a HPLC?
Azmed testing does have an hplc, but it is not setup yet. This is because there has yet to be a demanded for it. Most customers are collective s who only care about thc and cbd. Also the hplc testing starts at 80 where the gc iss half the cost. Don't take it from me though give Steve Cottrell a call he is a nice guy and will answer all your questions, he is very helpful. He is in this for the right reasons.

Yeah man no worries. I was just wondering, as I do want to get mine tested but I'm debating just to do it in California where I know it's reputable. Guess I will need to do my homework.

If you have the opportunity to use sclabs, steep hill, or canna then I would def go that route as they are much more established and almost 100% accurate. It would be cool if you could get matching samples tested in Cali and one by azmed that way you could get a good comparison. Hey headtreep I am flowering out some AOS she get big and drinks a lot. Excited about this one.

Yeah If I can get the time and extra money I would love to cross reference. Yeah, I ran here one last time. She can produce and eat heavy ;) I'm gonna miss her but I'm sure she will be around. Too many things out there to explore unlike that of the 90s.
