Any significant benefit of HLG 288 R Spec over current lights

The answer is yes. You will have much more light. Follow HLGs advice on height, space and white led environment requirements and you should definitely notice a difference. Check out some of the qb growers on here

As far as I know I'm happy with the lights but the more I read about everything led I can't help but wonder. How much is marketing and how much translates to real world performance. Gotten a good number of successful harvests with the viparspectra but it's also the only lights I've owned so not much to compare to. On paper they seem to have a similar lighting footprint as far as size of light and coverage area go. I know the 288 kit lists 130 watt, my current setup pulls 200 watt from the wall. Seems like everything I've read says more power from the wall the better when it comes to led (or does that just pertain to MH, HPS, CMH VS LED) so going with the QB seems like a downgrade there. I know newer more efficient technology and design, as well as spectrum factor into that as well. I guess what I was really wondering, would I see better quality or quantity at harvest and just how significant is that difference.
