plants take in co2 through the leaves, they take o2 through the roots.

there are already some CO2 foliar sprays

that product is designed for aquatic plants that live underwater which do, in fact, take in CO2 from the water through it's leaves. the CO2 will eventually gas off, adding CO2 to your air, but it doesn't seem like a very cost effective way to do it.
