what do you guys think
CO2 Booster from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Inc. 16oz

  • CO[SUB]2[/SUB] Booster adds essential carbon in a form plants can absorb from the water
  • Supplies simple carbon compounds and slowly releases CO[SUB]2[/SUB] to the plants
  • Can be used alone or with CO[SUB]2[/SUB] systems
  • Safe for use with freshwater fish and will not alter pH
  • Simple once a day dose

that product is designed for aquatic plants that live underwater which do, in fact, take in CO2 from the water through it's leaves. the CO2 will eventually gas off, adding CO2 to your air, but it doesn't seem like a very cost effective way to do it.
