Anyone Else Addicted to Collecting Rare/Seeds ?

anyone else addicted to buying seeds like me ? i got thousands ..some rare some standard , what you got and how addicted are you ? i buy at least one seed every pay day lol

I'm just getting started myself, only got WW (fem) and a cross I ended up with accidentally. But I plan to start acquiring, have an order in for a couple strains as I write. And, now that I learned about colloidal silver, I plan to multiply whatever seeds I get.

it becomes addictive , i swear im more addicted to searchin out seeds i want than i am to actualy smokin the shit lol i can spend hours pondering different strains , although i will say .....dont allways trust what you think your buying is actualy what you get ..just my 2 pence / cents

Too hard for me to keep them I prefer to grow them but I do have a good inventory. That im about to pull from. I got Pineapple Express, Crystal, white widow, afrodite, blueberry, orange bud, and mekong high and a couple skunk seedz

I have LSD, NL, SAD, Lemon Skunk, sour cream,and blueberry gum...I want to place another order soon getting about 5-10 more strains from attitude with ufo's and promo's..

I wish, sounds dreamy. =)

i honestly think i have a real probelm when it comes to buying beans.. i have more than i could probably plant in a life time.. everytime i see or hear of a new strain or company that i want to try, i just have to have them..
my seed list is pretty damn long no doubt..
it takes too much effert for me to remember them all, but i must have over fifty strains .. some rare and some not so rare.. always looking for more though..

If only weed grew faster I could grow them all!

I'm in the same exact boat. I don't even grow large scale, just 6 at a time. I've got thousands of seeds from all sorts of breeders. I just can't resist the promos and great looking strains. The seeds will probably go bad before I have a chance to plant them all. I need to stop for a while now.

yeah best to look after the seeds as they can soon rot , i keep mine in sealy bags in a dry dark drawer .

Yeah, but not only seeds..... Clone only strains are harder to keep considering space, I keep finding these clone only strains like PEZ, Albert Walker, G-13, Afghooey. I am going to have to graft some plants together to keep my numbers down as I just can't seem to let go of my clone only strains!

Couldn't you make seeds from "clone only" strains using silver?

not and keep it pure. You can get good results, but the odds of getting the exact same plant are low, imho. The plants have genetics of lots of different plants in them. The genes will get mixed up in the seed, hence the different phenotypes that people talk about.

I'm with you on the collecting thing. I just started and what I am into are the original strains E.G. pure old ones. So far I have Kwazulu, Kilimanjaro, and Jungle wreck. The Wreck isn't a pure strain but it was a wild cross. As time and my wallet permit I want collect original strains from as many different cultures as possible.

Other strains include: Blackwater, Cal Orange skunk, Critical Jack, Veneno and TNT Kush.

Hopefully i'll have a collection like that. Breeding is a particular interest of mine. I've been trying to find some pollen for my pure indica master kush. But my pollen guy backed out on me -_-.
I took clones though, so at least I get another shot (as my flower cycle is just hitting 3 weeks, i'd literally need to be pollinating within like 2 days, which don't look likely). But I also hope to get a few seeds soon, so I can trade some. Fem aren't my first choice, but they're good when your only getting 1 or 2 and aren't super concerned with pheno, since you can clone the shit out of them. But I think I still prefer regular.
SOMEDAY, i'll actually have some seeds to boast about. Til then, all I have are a few lowgrade sativa's obtained from some lowgrade smoke. Tall, long lifespan, equatorial sativas. I suppose it could have it's positive sides when it comes to genetics, hardy, outdoor strain, but overall, I wouldn't wanna grow it just to smoke it, if I grew it, it'd be to cross into a long line of strains being crossed, and even then, only for a couple traits. Although I will admit to being partial to Indica's myself.

Yeah I'm totally turning into a strain whore. When something I want comes back in stock after being out for a long time, ill buy some just so I have them when I need them. Sucks when you want something that's out of stock.

If I could, I would buy the entire sensi seeds catalog, mr nice, and tga. And mandala. Next gen too.
