Anyone else catch bugs in their air cooled reflectors?

I run an hps in an aircooled reflector. Before the reflector I had a gnat problem in my tent. Now my gnat problem is greatly reduced but I find dead bugs all over my glass! Stink bugs, gnats, and flies galore on my clean glass!

You need proper filters on your intake (and potentially exhaust depending on your setup) so they stop getting in. Fabric pots work pretty well for a cheap and easy way to cover ducting ends.

Never felt the need to put a filter on it. I grow in a legal state so smell isn't an issue for me. Other than a little loss in efficiency and some hassle, nothing really justifies the price to me. But maybe once I reap some harvests my attitude will change and I'll step it up haha.

Edit: oh shit didn't see you gave a cheap alternative. That's a sick idea that I'll probably use. Cheers

I don't mean a carbon filter for smell, just a cover for where the air passes in/out of the grow space is all so the bugs can't get to the light anymore.

Yeah I get what you mean now. A little blazed at the moment. Thanks for the help!

I know it's not ideal but the passive intake of my tent can hold up a piece of paper towel. No tape needed and I got my bug filter.
