A gallon a foot is way too much, unless your outside IMO.How tall are you plants?
What size pot do you have them in?
what are the temps night and day?
what is the RH of your area night and day?
The average rule is for every 1ft of growth you need 1 gallon
1ft = 1 gallon
2ft = 2 gallon
3ft = 3 gallon
etc
But a little tip is the bigger the pot the better.
On my next grow i plan on using a 2 gallon for propagation and the rest of the grow i will be turning the little ladies to flower on week 2 of veg. after they have been topped.
I will only be allowing colas and a couple of bud sites lower down on the branch as i want to try and make some monsterous colas.
Follow the rule and you will be fine and should not need to water every day.
DO however remember that if your plant is 18inches tall before you turn her to flower then she will double or triple in size so you need to allow that in the pot size you choose before you change to 12 12 so you would transplant into a 3-4 gallon pot before you switch to allow her to grow properly.
You will be fine as you are and dont worry about transplanting now as you will give her some uneeded stress you are just gonna get a bit pissed off from watering all the time.
Good luck and remember the rule.

They look awesome bro but i am only passing on my opinion.
It is only a rule of thumb and can be adapted to whatever works for you.
I am only trying to see why his girls are drinking so much daily.
But thanks for the tips and the pics

not unusual at all to be watering every day with a pot that small. you have got to be close to root bound. if you're in the right sized pot, you shouldn't have to water any more than every three days.guess its not just me..... The plant in question is in a 1.5 gallon pot and I am not only weighing the pot but am using a moisture meter. I am using a 1 gallon milk jug for watering and mixing nutes, so she drinks one gallon a day...
