I'm in the Front Range. Denver is just 30 minutes away. I was impressed with the quality and prices when I moved here too.
And here you can grow 6 plants per person with only 3 of them flowering. Or 12 plants max if there's at least 2 adults that live there.
And ya, the possession thing is pretty messed up though. Only an ounce per adult. Or 2 ounces if you are medical.

Our laws are whatever you harvest can be stored at the house, no weight limit. At least that is the state laws, not sure if cities can reduce that or not.
