Anyone grown out some Mexican reggie?

We just legalized here it's been 5 years since my last grow. Before one of my plants was from Mexican brick weed "reggie" and it came out great really right on par with most of the other strains I was running. So I decided to try another.

This lady (hopefully) is 3 weeks old. The first week it was in an outside shed that often would get under 45f

It's been topped once and now some leaf tucking.

Straight coco using advanced nutrients PH perfect 3 part

If they don't grow past 6-8 feet. I'd question the strain.

I've seen it grown out. No me. I've attempted to grow it out and it grew past the light and kept going.

Grams dry

What do you mean question the strain? I personally wouldn't let em get that tall I like to scrog.

I grew some Mexican bag seeds in 1999 and honestly it was some of the best weed I've ever grown. Outdoor grow in the south. Bud the seeds came from was compressed but lime green with red hairs and reeked of skunk. Wish I still had those genetics. Lol.

Exactly i grew mexi red .... straight sativa - tall , lanky , narrow ass leaf , took over 15 weeks easily.
Bangin smoke but really too much work.

Buds had a spear like shape too.

Most were inbred from large fields ... origins who knows - morraccan / african ? They compressed cured that shit with bugs , trash , pesticides , shit , piss and god knows what. Possibilities of herm are high as most isnt sinsemilla.

I remember smoking Mexican brick weed as a kid.

Tbh Id be ashamed to grow anything resembling that today so I wouldnt bother.

Better off getting some good genetics imo.

Ive got plenty of good genetics, and the brick weed is shit because of the horrible packaging process.

No cure at all its dried super faster and smashed into bricks as soon as they can.

11 days later just took a few cuttings. Still doing good

Exactly. Some of the genetics from that Mex brick weed can be real fire. The drying/curing/packaging/delivery practices is what made it terrible. They would let it dry in piles in the sun, then smash it into bricks, sometimes it would travel in old kerosene drums across the border to throw off dogs.

I grew out the neon green brick weed once. Was pretty decent bubblegum/homegrown smelling weed like back in the day although it was my first grow with a giant shop metal halide and peters 20/20 so could have done a lot better
