Anyone have any experiences with adding an organic soap to DWC/Bubbleponic?

I've been reading how adding soap increases the viscosity of the water making it "wetter" with DWC the root zone is completely emerged in water and I was curious as to whether applying an organic soap would increase the roots ability to uptake nutrients or whether it would just make a soapy mess that would kill the plants? Any thoughts or feedback is appreciated.

Making water wetter is something we want when we are foliar feeding. Water tends to bead off leaves. A wetting agent will help the water spread out and stay on the surface longer, hopefully giving the leaf more time to absorb.

Putting it in the res water doesn't make sense to me. Optimal nute uptake occurs when you have set the proper PH, PPM, and water temp for your strain.

all women enjoy a bubble bath once in a while,but I dont think it will work out in dwc,the roots really cant get any wetter than they are and the soap may cause problems,even though you were probably only going to use a few drops.I wouldnt chance it

Perfect thread for my question.. ( not Hijacking) I too am doing DWC 5 gal rez. I just purchased some diamond nectar humic acid by General Hydroponics. Any body use this stuff or a foliar spray ????

Liquid light + saturator from dutch master are hands down the best foliar products I have ever used. The results are visible in hours.
