Anyone with small plants?

Hello all. I've been thinking about whether to grow 1 decent sized plant or maybe a few plants that are vegged for a month. I realize the benefits of having 1 bigger plant. With topping and vegging longer, you can get a higher yield per plant. What my questions are about are going with smaller plants. On average what can 1 small plant yield? What is the minimum height until ready for flowering? I've read on here somewhere around 5 in. Maybe that's totally wrong. I realize yield can change considering genetics, nutes, light, etc., just asking for an average.

Reason I'm considering the smaller plant path is that I would like to have 1 female, clone that plant and not have to wait for such long sprouting/vegging time to get a huge plant. That way I can stagger a few smaller plants every few weeks and harvest more often.

Not topping will cut your yield down drasticly.5 inches is too little to flower, you need to wait till she shows preflowers. If your not useing fems you better grow more than one plant. My plants were flipped last night and thier almost 2 foot at the 16th internode with 6 or 8 shoots on ever plant.

I would recommend growing many plants not more then 5 or so for your first grow.

I can get a 1ft wide x 1 ft tall plant (at end of veg) to yield over two ounces with decent lighting and training. (of the plant not my grow skillz)
