apollo aeroponic machines

Have any of you guys ever used these or seen this machine in action? If you have 1 or used 1 in the past im curious to know what you think of this system. It seems like its a really nice and user friendly system. Also, what kinda of watering cycles are recommended. Ive seen anywhere from 8 secs on for every 2.5mins to leaving the pump on 24/7. This pump draws 8 amps and that seem like it would use alot of electricity if it were to be run 24/7?? I have 1 of these and have 1 run under my belt. And i know i have alot to learn with aero. Its definitletly testing my 20 yrs of dwc and hydro experience!!

I could think of a better way to spend 1k. You could build that system at home depot for under 200. I dunno if it comes with a light. Even if it does, there's another 200.
