Aquastyleonline DIY LED's anyone?

I have a saltwater reef fishtank, and through researching lighting for growing coral, I stumbled upon these DIY led's....They're 3w bridgelux and Epistar LED's, and if you contact the website through an email, they're happy to work with the different LED colors with you. On a reef tank forum I belong to, I've followed several builds on these units, and they're top notch, especially for the price! I think I'm going to be investing in to try for veg in the future, but I was wondering if anyone else had any knowledge of these units for growing MJ...

Maybe I'll get off my ass and make my order in the next couple weeks. From what I've heard in the Coral Reef Tank community, these units are the real deal. Coral reef tank owners are the only people I've met who might be more insane about lighting requirements than indoor growers. And it says you can get white LED's in 2800k and 6500k, would these work? I've used CFL's in that spectrum range to grow some top quality dank, before I switcched to HPS and MH.

Hey Metasynth. Very good ideas there! I use 2800k and 6500k lights for my grow. Going without a hitch so far. Having a pink LED grow is not the only way....

Yeah, I was just thinking for the price, with 3w LEDs, these units are pretty kickass. Someone on the coral forum even went so far as to contact bridgelux to make sure they were actually being used in these packages.

Fell across the same thing on my planted tank forums and decided I had to give it a go. I went the cheapo route and ordered high watt arrays from China and they seem to work pretty well so far. About to convert my tanks to LEDs as well.
