Are my plants already FEMALE?!?

I know I'm probably just jumping to conclusions, but I have read that when the stems grow white hairs all over, it is a female plant. I have 2 little 6-day-old plants growing, and both of their stems are covered in white hairs. Am I as lucky as I hope, or am I wrong?

most plants don't show signs of sex until they begin flowering, however SOME may show their sex before entering the flowering cycle.

you say your plants are 6 days old? there's no way (that i know of) to determine sex so early.

what white hairs are you looking at? any pictures?

im guessing those would be the same fuzzy looking hairs found on most plants, not an indication of sex. your looking for hairy white PISTOLS that will form in the nodes to determine sex, that is where i would keep an eye on. Last i knew all plants were different in timeing as far as showing thier sex. Some say a week into flowering you can see preflowers, some dont show until much later. Keep an eye on the nodes inbetween branches for the hairs or the sac, if you see a sack toss it unless you want seeds or rope. Good luck

ahhh... fuzzy white hairs are completely normal on both sexes. i don't know their actual name, or purpose, but like i said both sexes have them.

Thanks for all the help!
That's why the community is here!

Just remember when you harvest successfully you have to send a portion of the "goods" to each member who helped along the way :) .......

.....or that's how it should be, haha.

im a medical grower in wa and just started my first crop.. THeres absolutely no way unless clone not even then that ur gonna have white hairs yet.. i had 3 plants i grew for a couple months, one was 2 feet and bushy, the others were same age and way smaller.. on the big plant took me less then week to see the white hairs, looks like little green pistol with 2 TINY white hairs stickin out, once that happens you can stick it back into veg to make a mother and clone , or bud it, up to you, thats how u find out.. my little ones still show no sex just the big one, but its a monster so hopefully it will be cloned
