Are my yields well below par for 200w CFL - happy but think I should get better

Good Evening Growers! I've had 6 harvests over the past year with various CFL combinations, and yields have crept up, with quality high throughout, but should I get more?
The last 3 harvests, all fully dried, cured, and crispy, and from home made reflector groom rooms. BioGrow, BioBizz and Molasses

1 x 2ft AK48 at 160w CFL - 23g
4 x 18" AK48 at 200w CFL - 32g
4 x small LST AK48 with 35w CFL each - 7-9g per plant
I've now got a proper 2x2 tent, and 4 Blue Mystic at 18" in second week of flower and topped: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/518017-multi-strain-cfl-grows-blue.html

Would really appreciate some advice (yes I know you'll need more info on set up, but will answer when prompted rather then flood with info)

Sorry to ask but we need that info to help you. List everything, soil type, nutes, fans and venting, humidity, temp, ph adjustment if you do. Pics of the set-up.

If you want bigger yields, your gonna have to increase your luems. Why not go for a t5. Your yields will jump waaay up.

nice.. it amazes me what some ppl can do with those bulbs, and fluro-tubes, if you had asked me evan 2 years ago i would have said chuck to trash, but some of the grows here have been very productive to say the least...

I don't mind telling if you don't mind reading!
Basic's that were constant, BioGROW for veg, BioBLOOM for flower, and a little molasses at weeks 3 and 5. I have been a little cautious whilst learning. Oh and this week I realised I should have continued to use BioGROW as well as BioBLOOM for flowere, so that's one past issue :)
Soil was whatever I bought at the supermarket or hardware store, which was usually too rich, and made me scared of my bottled nutes (I have now invested in BioBizz light mix, but haven't gone full cycle) oh, and for the first ten months I didn't even use perlite or anything, just straight grow bag stuff.

Temps have been low 20-24c depending on season, all have had circulating air and, basic air in and air out systems.

My nice new tent has circulating fan, outside, blowing cold air in through vent, 3" fan hanging by bulb, and 4" extractor in the roof, straight up and out, no filter, no piping. Oh and the highest lumen value and most reflective walls

Thank you, and I made huge mistakes in every grow too, but if you could have tasted it... so sweet and fruity, made me never want to smoke commercial unflushed crap again. I have of course, but that's no surprise :)

These 2 plants had 35w each, very basic LST, 7-9g totally dry and cured, prob should have flowered an extra week in hindsight. One plant per chopping board pic.

The grow room was n my shed and made from polystyrene insulation board

good thread, i`m growing with cfls aswell, i have 4 65w 2700k and 4 36w 6500k going on 4 girls at the minute, there 2ft tall, topped and somewhat lst`d, just flipped into flower, have adequite lumens and or watts, depending whatever you take on yeild might be regarding the two...

normal run of the mill soil, baby bio for veg, n.p.k 3-10-10 for bloom, will be giveing another veg feed and mixing the veg and bloom adjusting the mix through out flower to work in more 3-10-10 and starting weak and working my way up in strenght..

so i am hopeing to yeild at least 1 to 1half oz per plant....

this sound reasonable to you guys??

Well you've got about 400watts, and possibly more experience. I grew one 2ft plant under a 125w 2700k, and 40w of smaller bulb side lighting, and got 21g cured and dry, excluding little popcorn bits. With your ability to get the light penetrated better with several bulbs, I don't see why you shouldn't get at least 21g plus per plant, if you don't make the many many mistakes I did.

`had to clip some fan leafs the other day, looks drastic but it was really like three or four per plant...

you have about 100watts per plant, my first grow I pulled 3.25oz of sour d off 3 plants, don't remember how many watts, but it couldn't have been much more (or less) than what you have. I didn't use veg nutes and used bloom at end of grow... so I think it's possible with what you have. stay high

cool....

not that i`m after mega yeild and all that jazz, i just want to supply myself with some proper smoke, as the crap we get here (ireland) is factory grown and sprayed with everything you can imagine...

NO, that was total!!! I grew in soil, 3 gal pots, vegged til they were about 18" tall then flipped to 12/12. they were almost 3ft tall and produced about oz. or more each. My 3rd and last grow I did (I chopped a few weeks early) was 2 plants i think I got 3.37oz total so just over 1.5oz per plant. I figure my next grow if i do right will be 2oz per plant. stay high

Thanks for the update, I can stop crying now. I thought that there was no way I would achieve 3 and a half per plant

Don't over cook the nutes and take the time to flush and you will be a happy happy bunny. If you can keep the air moving and bulbs within 1cm of plants without stressing, you'll get some really really crystally dense nuggets. Its been months since my last harvest, thinking about it has made me miss it so much. UK is much the same for street smoke, it's strong, there are good varieties, but tastes like ass, hurts the throat and costs a fortune

ah mate the crap they sell here is weak at best and hardly a stone off it really, hence the home grow..

i smoke a fair bit and even more when its really weak, so it cost a fortune, 300euro, think thats about 260 pounds for an oz but you`d be lucky if theres 25grams in the bag and of course thats wet...

so i invested in some good genetics and now i hope for the best....;)

I'll keep my eye out for your grow. If you have any questions, drop me a message, i'm still learning, but learnt a lot through mistakes
