Ive been suspecting mites for a while. My plants are extremely sensitive to heat, females pistols are coming in brown and burnt looking, yet the plants are lush and vigorous, not burnt and only a month old. I have grayish/silver tips on leaves and the tops of large fan leaves stems are red, branches are flimsy and weak, not flopping and and lanky, but bendable and flimsy if that makes sense. Ive read that all these are symtoms of russet/broad mites but I havnt been able to find any with my scope, well I don't think I was taking enough time. This time I sat down comfortably for a while to scope the leaves. These pics were just off one leaf, I looked it over for probably 30 to 40 minutes, didn't get the idea to take pics until the end. I don't think those gold specks are normal, I need your guys help though, what do you think?
