Are these okay?

so i went to this guys house today and hes got these lights for sale... hes got 4 of them... 50 bucks each... im not sure if this is what im looking for... can some1 please tell me if these will work... they look different from most... maybe its just the shade....

For 50 bucks that seems like quite a deal. Just make sure they're working and see if you can get an estimate as to how many hours he's run them. So long as the mileage on them isn't too high I'd say you can't go wrong.

i saw them... they run... they just dont have like outlet plugs on em... just wires hangin out... the one has a plug and he plugged it in... seemed to work fine... on the other three he stuck the wires into the outlet and they fired up... he got them at a job he was workin at... they were in the basement and he took em... never used em... he doesnt kno how long the original people used them ... they are just dusty... i figure i can give them a shot... but like ... will they work... i mean the shades look different from what some of the people on this site have... also the balast is connected to them... this this going to be a problem for heat?

HID lights aren't my specialty but I would be wary of purchasing lights that have exposed wires. No telling what kind of abuse they may have suffered. No sense in burning the house down to try to save a buck.
