Are these temps too high?

I have a small box, temp runs around 96 w/ the doors closed..
Is this okay? (Little Humidity)

thats way too hot. is there a fan that u can run in there? or ur gonna have to leave the doors open if possible

Where exactly are you placing the thermometer??? This makes a BIG difference.

If it is your "normal" thermometer you do NOT want to place it in the direct light (where your plants are). The thermometer is designed to measure air temperature (not radiant temperature from direct light). Tape the thermometer up on the wall with cardboard covering it (to shield it from light). And measure.

For AIR temp you want around 68-68ish

For RADIANT temp it can be 100-120 and be fine. The plants are design to withstand much more radiant temp due to their need of light rays.

If you're growing sativas and the humidity is over 70%... you should be okay. Unless the plants look diseased I wouldn't worry about it.

general rule of thumb keep temps between 75-85 i'm not sure how anyone with an hid can maintain 68..

Wow ! And you wanted to get an HPS?? Whew thats too hot bro. Anything over 85F slows growth.

70 % is too much humidity. . I think plants like it a little dryer, should be around 45 to 55 humidity. temp at the tip of ur plant should be 76 degres.

what do others think.

If you knew anything you wouldn't ask what others think.

i'll stick firm by my 75-85.. i keep at 77 majority of the time. never had a prob with heat but everybody's grows different.
