Are they dead!!????

Hi i recently potted my babies into rockwoll and into an iws flood and drain system with strictly coco pebbles. I think i may have flooded the rockwoll too much with feed and now the plants are showing a decreased pace of growth!! They are also clawing and have really thin leafs!!?? Is this correct thinking and how should i recover from this!!??? PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEE :'(

how big are the babies how old? if very tiny remove all fertilizers just water, air the rockwool you can even place the cube infront of a fan just make sure that you dont do it when in very cold conditions good luck...

They are only a week old, some have rooted out of the rockwool and also out of the actual iws pot however some of them have mot rooted as fast and dont look as bushy or tall, the leafs are really thin also, if i do stop the feed will this really help as im scared it will only get worse if i do so. Thanks guys really need and appreciate the help

What size rockwool are they in. A common mistake is to use 4 inch+ cubes in flood and drain which is a total waste of time with regards to productivity with that system. You would be as well throwing them in DWC as they are not getting the increased oxygen that F&D gives you also have a high chance of drowning them. WHY?? coz the rockwool holds too much water, and depending on you flood frequency it is easy to drown em.

With regards to nutes.... Clones or seed?

If clones, you can chuck em straight in at full strength nutes.

If seeds, treat em the same as ya would in soil, build up from quater strength.

There clones bro. Hmmm u say not to use 4+ ? Iv used them before an minmum i get off 6 plants is 70oz so i think maybe as the rockwool isnt in soil and the roots are on pebbles the rockwoll may help get the extra moisture for growth??? As regards to the question i asked how am i to recover from the claw??? Flush with water how much? They are already over wet
