ARE WE STILL BUILDING COB ENGINES?

Hello, long time no chat! D1 checking in to see if the Cree cxa/cxb on a arctic 11 heatsink still hit the spot. Drivers used previously were all meanwell 24~40ish volt at 1500ma. This was a 35 to 48 watt spot for about a 1.5 sq. I am now running two Gorilla tents, 2x4,4x4 with a Mars SP300 in the 2x4(KILLING IT!!) and a SF2000 in the 4x4. I am thinking of using my drivers left over and chips from other builds,( vero 29's,3070, 3090's) to fill out the other half of the 4x4. Last I checked 4 cobs at 80 ish watts did the trick for me, BUT... I would love some feedback on best choice options to light the other half of the 4x4. Thanks to all. D1

Absolutely! Do it, I just bought 12 cxb3590 for less than 2.50 each off arrow. And Vero 29s for even less than that, I love cobs. Cmu 2287 blows all those older models away those the ones you want I'll find a link on arrow for a good price.
