Are your hands cracked and nasty?

Probably. gardening rapes your hands. I have taken this little tip for granted but recently I have run into a lot of people who were unaware of this useful tip.

hydrocortisone! Put it on your fingertips once a day. Them nasty cracks will heal in a couple of days. You can get it over the counter - usually marketed under anti-itch cream. It promotes healing of those cracks better than anything I have ever used.

Who said steroids are whack?

I hate eczema, I have good genetics I am tall, built, lots of hair and good health, but eczema is my biggest down fall. I think the mycos makes it worst.. my grandfathers swears by corn huskers, but never tried it. When my eczema gets out of control I use something called vetericyn for animals it works really good.

I found that 100% pure lanolin did the trick without the VitaVegamin C.

Corn huskers lotion. Lye soap is good for eczema, poison ivy oak and sumac.
My baby had eczema and we tried everything. We went to a local fall festival and a woman was selling lye soap and saw the baby. She told us it would clear it up and it did.

It's not good to use steroids for prolonged periods of time.

My feet look so much better than my hands due to Eumovate (type of cortisone) which unfortunately thinned the skin. My hands now can literally get a cat scratch and it will open up!! A simple cut that would heal elsewhere in a couple of days can take three times as long on my hands.

Only use cortisone/ steroid products if you really need it. I've got eczema and I'm really careful in the winter but it usually gets me by Jan through til March.
