So i caught my dog this morning with two paws in my biggest plant getting ready to tear shit up, luckily the damage wasn't too bad, Two leaves and a small part of new growth where i had topped it at the top, but needless to say it was too much.

What can i use to protect my plants. I was thinking chicken coop wire but idk wether to put it around the whole box or just the plants individually. I dont even know where to get it, Lowes maybe? If i were to put it around the whole box i would need an opening.

What else can i or should i use?

off the subject but is there a reason you leave so much room from the lip of the plant container to the actual plant level?
I'm not being critical, i just always have filled it as much as possible.
If it's just your dog that is being the problem, you can get cheaper gate wire that'll work.
I'd get the chicken wire though it keeps out everything.

buy some balloons and pop of few near the dog, like in it's face, it should scare them, tie a few balloons to your grow and the dog should go nowhere near them. Good luck JR

just use chicken coop wire and put it around the whole box. just make sure its tall enough to surround your plants untile they're big enough to not get hurt by your dog or any other animals.

Lol my dog is not a guard dog it is my house pet. I give it plenty of affection and walk him almost everyday.

Love the landmines idea, Just maybe a tad excessive though.

Where can i pick up some Chicken wire?

Home depot. You might try putting cayenne or tabasco on the rim of the pot too. They don't like the smell would probably do the trick. jr's idea might work too.
