asymmetrical growth

this is my first grow, a lowryder 2. It seems to be growing oddly. One node out is like 1 inch taller than the other. The other one had one leaf curling under and twisting. I cut that leaf off. I think the deformatities were caused by nute burn and heat stress. My ph is optimal, after flushing. I am going back and forth between indoor under t5s and outside in the sun. Eventually I want to place it outside full time. Its in a soil mix.

Can someone tell me if they think the odd grow pattern is because of the stress and subsequent leaf problem? Is there anything I can do to help it out?
Should I cut off the entire shoot where there are two remaining leaves are or just leave it?
1st pic- this is it before I cut the leaf, before it twisted and curled, its the burned one on the left.
2nd pic- after I cut the twisted leaf off.
3rd pic- its just beginning to twist.

thanks!
