Attic grow room

Hello, plannin on to start to grow 2 plants in my attic but it can get hot up there sometimes. I need to know what lights would be the best but affordable and where i could get them.Also any other tips in growin in the atic are welcomed. thanks

the main problem in an attic grow is the environment. it gets very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. you have to be able to control the environment and keep it at around 80-85deg. for the lights hid's are phenomenal and generally considered the best i.e. mh and hps. you can get them at decent prices from bghydro.com and htgsupply.com . if those are out of your budget you can go with fluorescent lights and still have great results. hope that helps a little bit.

My summer attic grow went pretty well. Dealing with the heat/cold and lack of vertical space can be tough hurdles. If vertical space is an issue for you then be sure to force flower asap or else you'll end up panicking when suddenly your buds are getting burnt by the light. Tying down the plants helps tremendously as well.
