Auto Crosses with SwiSHa85

Ok guys it's finally that time. Been working on my 3 base strains for close to 3 years now. White Widow, OG Kush and AK47. They are at F4s now with plans to stop at F5.

Fast foward to now and I currently have 25 randoms autos going in a new room. All different strains from different breeders all at dif stages in growth. Most of them will be hit with fem pollen from a reverse White Widow. Also in the works are some Blueberry crosses. The WW crosses are to increase yield and potency in smaller strains and the Blueberry are to add increased speed and flavor to larger strains.

Already going atm...
Blue widow(Blueberry x White Widow)
Teal Crack (Blueberry x Green Crack)
Jack Frost (Jack Herer x White Widow)

The others have just started stretch for flower and will be dusted as soon as they have some size to them. Wont be doing branches as ive done in the past. Take as many seeds as i can get so im just doing the entire plant.

Get some pictures of different stuff later today but this was taken a week ago. Keep you guys updated.

So are they all full autoflower now? I'm interested in the process of turning a photoperiod line into an autoflower.
 
Yes at F3 you have full autos. Its alot of work pheno hunting and pollinating.

Much easier to reverse a fem auto if you want seeds. Once i bring these 3 base to F5 im done for awhile. Just using fem pollen from here on out for everything else.

I was thinking of just maybe doing some auto to auto F1s to have an endless supply of auto seeds for a perpetual auto tent. Maybe reverse some to get fem beans.
 
Reverse would be S1 but yes you have the right idea. Much faster and easier.

You can also do one branch only. This will give you beans for the next run and something to smoke also.

I don't mean S1s. I meant crossing some males to females for F1s and maybe also doing some reversals to make F1 fems or R1s or whatever the kids are calling it these days. Lol.

Ah I misread. That was the hardest part at the beginning for me. Finding a suitable male auto to start with. Then I was lucky enough to talk face to face with breeders from Fastbuds at a convention. Once they set me in the right direction i fell down the rabbit hole.

How long does it take to do all of this stuff??? In terms of years??? You cats that do this are amazing to me!!! I talk a lot of shit,but I mean this for real... I wish I could go back 20 years knowing what I know now!!! NUFF RESPECT DUE!!!

How do you do that??? Go into my regs and find something I like and take a male to pollinate an auto???

You want to make quick seeds Nitty? You reverse a female using a reverse agent such as Colloidal Silver aka cs. Makes a female spit nanners creating female pollen. Once you do this the bud is no longer useable. If your a very careful person and know how it all works, you can pull off just reversing a single cola and she will pollinate herself.

I too have been doing the same thing for some time...expanding auto traits by crossing with photoperiod periods..Crossed a beautiful White Gold(formerly know as Bleuberry (proper spelling) White label (Regular Seed Male)with a White Widow(feminized)...those beans (male)were crossed with Fastbuds GirlScout Cookies Auto(fem).to create Heterozygous Photoperiod (Pp)...all obviously showing photoperiod phenos at that point) in turn, resulting males were crossed with Expert Seeds..GG4Auto...the result gave me a small percentage...stabilized Autoflower regular seed ...and some damn nice males to breed with..
I too make my own Colloidal silver for feminizing..and have saved the pollen for back crossing ( feminized version) since breeding Auto's is quite different from photoperiod, due to the inability to keep a mother plant alive for an extended period. BUT the backcross only entailed the fem genes..

Ive also crossed Tangiematic and Green Crack Auto (Fastbuds) , Amnesia Haze Auto with my male Autos (hybrid)...in additional to some Duckleaf crosses

I get that... But what about crosses??? I'll need a whole plant for that,right???

All you need is one plant and you can make yourself (S1's) seeds..Not identical to the mom, but has her hodgepog of genes none the less...As swish mentioned..spray Colloidal silver on just
One branch of your female..Once/day..Start spraying a few days before you flip to 12-12..or with Autos, try to start spraying just before/as preflowers are expected to come out 2-3 weeks later that plant should start sprouting feminized pollen that you can use on the same plant or others you want to cross..This should save you a ton on beans. :)
