ok so I have one cheese candy auto plant that has been going for a little while now. its growing in a 3 gallon pot of organic super soil and has been forming buds for about 2 weeks. and just recently ive noticed that its become root bound. now i know that transplanting it would stress it out and stunt its growth. im ok with doing that to save my plant but i was wondering if someone has a more creative idea that would not stunt my plant? i was thinking of cutting the bottom of my pot off and placing it in a 5 gal bucket with some soil layered at the bottom for the roots to stretch out in. anyone else got any ideas?

3 gallon is fine just adjust your feed. I use 3 gallon smart pot I feed every other watering ,that is about every 4 the day.

What makes you think its root bound.

If it is root bound it wouldn't be hard. You fill the 5 gallon with soil. Use the 3 gallon to make a perfect indention in the 5 gallon.

You let the soil dry some in the 3 gallon. If you work the sides gently then lean it sideways with plant stem between middle two fingers it will pop right out with no damage to roots. The root ball will hold it together. Then you just set the root ball in the perfect matched indention in the five gallon. Cover with a little more dirt and water. Easy peasy.

Hey thanks for the reply everyone i will let it go in the 3 gal pot and adjust my watering and see if that helps if not ill just do a transplant
