Autoflower with photoperiod? Advice + REP!

I do not have any experience with autoflower strains. I got 3 free autoflower strains with my recent seed order. I plan on growing under 2 600 HPS both on a continuous 12/12 photoperiod. I will be cloning the non-autoflower strains in another room for rooting and vegetating with CFL'S. My question is will the 12/12 photoperiod mess with the autoflower or will it just take twice as long to mature?

I'm sure I answered my own question, I just want to confirm it with someone with experience. Thanks in advance!bongsmilie

I'm guessin it will flower at same time but be smaller than if it was on 18/6 with less bud and tricome production, this is based on a few things I have read and I heve never tryed myself, but hope it helps a bit

no, it won't take twice as long to mature as auto's flower by age and length of light has nothing to do with flowering with them whatsoever.. the only downside i could maybe forsee using only 12 hours of light versus twenty four or eighteen or whatever else is that they may not get as big as they may otherwise get, but i really don't think it will be all that big of a difference imho..

Thanks. I guess this will be a little experiment of mine. I'll take pics and keep you up to date. I'm going to keep a very detailed journal on google sites<------suits me better than RIU journals. :( Peace out!
