AUTOFLOWER? Worth it? Which Company?

2 questions - I have been reading about autos lately since I am only growing small qty for personal use and I have a good 3 month window to grow something indoors over the winter (long story).

Any advice on autos?? What are some good strains ( I have been reading Ok reviews about mi5) , but more importantly, which is the best company to order autos from??? I have been on a few sites, but the selection is minimal.

I just did a run of Nirvana Seeds Northern Lights autos, if you grow them in the proper manner that you would grow an auto, you will be happy, with some LST training they are nice and compact, grow 3-4 of them and you will have a good yield, good smoke, and turn the scrap into hash. I think you will be satisfied, the smoke i got was damn good.

i would go with world of seeds pakistan ryder, its very compact frosty and can handle stress. i also yeilded just under and oz per plant

I don't think I'd ever order seeds from anywhere other than the Attitude. Expect maybe Nirvana if for some reason I wanted to try one of their strains.

I grew an auto called Pandora from Paradise seeds and loved it. Pulled over an oz per plant, which isn't bad for an auto outdoors. 10-11 weeks from seed to finish. The growth rate on them were incredible. Potent smoke with a nice taste. The odor wasn't all that bad either if you are growing indoors and that's a concern. Honestly though, if you have a 3 month grow window you can try just growing normal photoperiod plants. If you pick a strain that finishes in 8 weeks you can veg for 3-4 weeks then just flip to 12/12. Probably yield a lot more than with autos and save a little money since auto seeds are pretty expensive. I'm still not really sure why people grow autos indoors to begin with.

These are the most recent pictures I took. Probably about 2-3 weeks before I harvested They really swelled up in the last week or two before I harvested. You can see in the background how they dwarf the other autos I was growing.

I've done several and Big Buddha's Automatic (Northern Lights x Bonkers) was great -- very sweet tart smell/taste and pleasant high.

Lowlife Ak-47 and Lowlife White Russian were nice too -- very potent.

I have an order of fruit-auto coming from attitude. ordered about 5 days ago. ill let ya know when it comes etc..

from what i hear no auto can hang with the iranian auto.... i have never tried auto's but i will next year for a bumper crop and i will go the iranian way..total waste of time to grow something and get anything less than 2 zips on an outdoor

Ok, since i started growing auto's last year the best that i've grown were Barney's farm- Pineapple express autoflower (warning- very susceptible to mold, bad outdoors) and it gives about 2 ounces per plant outdoors, another good autoflower is dinafem's Fruit autoflower, smells like grapefruit and skunk. worst auto ive seen was dinafem's freebies 2nd grade haze autoflower, but they dont actually sell them so its not like they sell crappy gear. anything from short stuff seeds is good, id have to say the best auto's on the market are from short stuff. their onyx, russian rocket fuel and Mi5 have gotten a cult following in the autoflowering youtube channels ive seen.
