automatic flowering

are auto flowering strains any good.. and do you have to keep them under 24 hrs of light or can you do 12/12 with them.. also whats a good short strain.. trying to keep it under 4 ft.. any help would be great..

you can do 12/12 , autoflowering lowryder is good

and yes they are pretty good

Thats all I grow anymore. Ive grown Lowryder2 and Diesel Ryder both excellent.
I ahve some Auto AK47 and some Auto Hindu Kush coming.
If yield is not important I think you will like the Auto flowering strains. Ive always gotten a Ounce per plant.

autos are great but smell alot,they reccomend 18-6 lighting all the way thru

some guy did an auto ak-47 grow, and got some pretty damn good yield...

i'd say ~2 oz.

but he kept the light on for i'd say 24's first 3-5 weeks...

then later switch to a 20/4 thing.

he also underestimated the pot size and had to transplant into a larger pot.

all in all he said the weed could have kept flowering for a week longer for a more mature plant, but the weed smoke decent/well.

looking to go down the same root with the auto ak 47 all the supplers ive looked at are sold out can anyone help where to get the seeds from cheers??

I Just ordered from Attitude today, and hope to get them next week!!!! I'm super stoked! This will be my first grow solo! I'm ordered 5 Feminized Lowlife White Russian Autos!! I'll be running them on 24hrs of 400w HPS light the first couple weeks and SLOWLY introducing nutes a week later.. say a little less than a 1/4 strength and building up slowly. I'll be using a homemade hydroponics setup using rockwool 1", to 4" and then 5L pots with clay pellets.

I liked your question BUCK... I've always wondered this for myself, but my... mentor, adviced me against it... he had some theory about the thickness of the leaves and energy being wasted by the plant expanding it's leaves as opposed to narrow leaves in low humid control. Anyone have a good recommendation?

anyway, to the OP, don't do original lowryder, lowryder 2 and crosses with that are much more potent. auto ak47 is the highest yielding, I've seen more than 3 examples of 2 or more ounces per plant (keep in mind it takes up more space than other autos, thus less plants in the same area)
