Average Expenses

So I'm as new as it gets, I've been on here for days doing research b4 I decide to buy anything. I have a small 1 bed apartment and would like to get something going very soon. I plan on just growing the minnium which I found is usally around 4 plants to make sure I get a female. From your knowledge, about how much would a beginner spend on everything(seeds, lights, rocwool,nutrients, and anything else I haven't said) that is required to grow....reminder not tryin to initiate a large growing operation just a lil something for personal use. If you do your homework and use bag seeds you could do it for as little as $50.00

and then take it up from there , depending if you buy seeds ? ,upgrade as you go .. practice makes perfect.. start out slow and small and DONT TELL ANYONE ... Good luck

korvette is right you could do a very cheap grow or you can get a bit more exotic and spend a bit more my setup cost me about 350 for the grow bin, hydroton, light, water pump, timer, reservoir, jiffy disks, air tubing, air stones, ebb and flow fittings, panda film, 8 1x2's, digital ph meter and air pump. It was all a pile of stuff when i started and it took a bit of work but once i was done with the setup i was very happy. The nutes where another little bit of investment about 40 for veg nutes and 80 for flower nutes and then another 30 for ph adjusting and other addatives for your water.

That was for a hydro setup you can do soil for cheaper but that is what i wanted to do and i am very happy with what i have done so far. Imo hydro is the way to go.
